Second Spring Collective
Second Spring Collective is a supportive space for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Our small group circles combine education, relaxation and guided hypnotherapy to help women manage sleep changes, anxiety and emotional shifts during this stage of life.
Menopause isn’t the end of something it can be the beginning of a powerful new season.
Our story
Second Spring Collective was created as a supportive space for women navigating the changes of perimenopause and menopause.
Many women experience sleep changes, anxiety, emotional shifts and a sense of being out of balance during this stage of life. Yet it’s something that is rarely talked about openly, and many women feel they are going through it alone.
Second Spring Collective was created to change that.
Founded by Melanie Jane, a hypnotherapist and Reiki practitioner based in Southland, the collective brings women together in a calm and welcoming environment where they can learn about menopause, share experiences, and reconnect with themselves.
Through guided relaxation, hypnotherapy and supportive conversation, the sessions are designed to help calm the nervous system, improve sleep, and support emotional wellbeing during this important transition.
In Chinese medicine menopause is sometimes called a woman’s Second Spring a time of renewal, wisdom and a new stage of life.
Second Spring Collective is here to support women as they move through that season with greater understanding, confidence and balance.
What happens in the circle
The Second Spring Circle is a six-week supportive program designed for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Each weekly session offers a calm and welcoming space where women can relax, learn and share experiences with others going through similar changes.
Sessions include gentle education about menopause, guided relaxation and hypnotherapy to support better sleep and emotional balance, as well as open conversation with other women in the group.
The aim is simple to help women understand what their bodies are going through and to provide practical tools to navigate this stage of life with greater calm, confidence and support.
Circles are intentionally kept small to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone attending.
